Dan Egger-Belandria is a serial entrepreneur, performance artist, inventor, and facilitator of corporate and education diversity training. At present Dan owns and operates 4 businesses: Aquadrums, Senor Gato, Sonido Sol and New World Synergy.
Dan Egger-Belandria created New World Synergy to support organizations that value global diversity and cross-cultural awareness as an educational business strategy. He draws from a wealth of professional and personal experiences to make New World Synergy a unique resource for adults and youth alike, both in English and Spanish. New World Synergy celebrated 10 years of operation in 2010, having “made a difference” in companies such as Qwest, Fujitsu, Sun Microsystems, Swedish Medical Center, Wells Fargo, Coors, StorageTek, Blue Cross/Blue Shield,as well as hundreds of schools, non profits and youth organizations. Dan’s continued success is due in part to his vibrant, authentic communication style combined with creative program design ideas. Most importantly, he is committed to educating, unifying and bridging connections with audiences.
Dan began working with TSU-SBDC Business Advisor Ron Hash in 2008. Dan and Ron have worked together on a number of business issues ranging from business strategy and tactics, program development, contingency planning, intellectual property and contract negotiations, and sales and marketing strategy. Dan and Ron have also worked together facilitating small networking groups of entrepreneurs in the same industry. Dan has taken advantage of many other SBDC resources including SBDC_Net research, monthly training seminars, and outside resource partners for web development, search enginge optimization, and social media marketing.
Ron describes Dan as, “the most prolific, talented, and hard-working entrepreneur I know. Dan holds himself to a standard that most people can’t imagine, and then he wakes up every morning and delivers. Dan is a loaded gun that hits the bulls-eye every time. It has been a real pleasure and an honor to work with entrepreneurs of such caliber as Dan Egger-Belandria.”
During the past few years of working together, Dan’s business has expanded in many directions including; multiple lines of business, patenting and licensing of his aquadrums invention, national performance contracts, the addition of a second local band, and an ARTreach award through the Texas Commission for the Arts. Dan has also become a strong advocate of the SBDC program and has referred over a dozen other entrepreneurs to Ron Hash and the TSU-SBDC.
